Welcome to the RISE SILVER Course for 2025. This course includes the following sections that are all important parts of the RISE program. Please ensure you complete all sections and attend all of your RISE session in order to receive your RISE SILVER certificate:

Section 1:
The Life-Fit Program is delivered in partnership with Griffith University’s School of Applied Psychology. Players will participate in a series of online modules and training activities to develop some socio-emotional skills to help them tackle life’s challenges. Within Life-Fit, there are four categories.
• Healthy Habits – Sleep and Energy Drinks
• Strong Minds – Optimism
• Keep Calm – Self-Talk and Smiling  
• Stay Connected – Gratitude and Positive Actions

Within each category, there are a number of lessons that will be delivered. These lessons cover important aspects of socio-emotional development aimed at enhancing Respect, Integrity, Self-Esteem and Engagement of RISE athlete.

Remember to do your pre and post assessment which will be emailed from Griffith University.


Section 2:
The Accreditation component. For the SILVER program the accreditation is the 6-12 Referee Course. This includes an online module to complete and a workshop. If you like the content in the module, be sure to get in contact with your local club to see how you can participate.

Section 3:
Your RISE session attendance. This will be marked off by your program manager so please ensure you attend the majority of sessions with your coaches.
Pre-requisites
  • Candidates Aged 13-15 years old.
  • Currently registered to a Junior Rugby League Club.
Course Content

To complete this program, you will need to complete each of the following steps:

  • STEP 1: Complete Enrolment
  • STEP 2: Complete your life-fit assessments (sent by Griffith University at the start and end of the program)
  • STEP 3: Complete your Life-Fit eLearning Modules in the following sequence
    • Healthy Habits (Before Session 2)
    • Strong Minds (Before Session 3)
    • Keep Cool (Before Session 4)
    • Stay Connected (Before Session 5)
  • STEP 4: Attend a majority of the scheduled Development sessions
  • STEP 5: Complete your relevant Accreditation Course
